The Sacred Breath Method

Trauma-Informed Breathwork | Somatic Healing | Nervous System Regulation | Reiki Energy Work

The Sacred Breath Method is a transformative blend of conscious connected breathing, somatic release, trauma-informed healing, and Reiki energy work. It is specifically designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and energetic integration—all in a safe, heart-centered container.

This is where deep healing begins.

Before we meet, I’d love to get to know you a little more. Please take a few moments to complete the 8-question intake form below — it helps me hold the most supportive space for you.

(One time form, please disregard if you have already filled this out).

SPOTIFY MUSIC PLAYLIST:

You'll need to download the Spotify Pro account, if you don't have it already.

Note: Don't forget to turn off shuffle and repeat on your playlist.

To turn off shuffle and repeat on your own app:

Tap the "shuffle" icon on the far left of the playback controls. The shuffle icon looks like two criss-crossing arrows, and will be green if shuffle is enabled. Tapping it toggles shuffle play on and off.

  • When shuffle play is off, the icon is white. When shuffle play is on, the icon is green and has a dot under it.

  • When the repeat icon (the two arrows making an oval) on the far right of the playback controls is green, the entire playlist automatically plays again after all songs are played. If it is green and displays the number one, the current song will repeat. Be sure this option is toggled off if you wish to shuffle the entire playlist.

  • Tap the repeat icon to toggle the repeat option between off, repeat all, and repeat once.

Please play the Spotify playlist through speakers (if possible) and it's good to download the playlist before so there is no issue with streaming. It's best to have the music play through one source, like a phone (connected to bluetooth or USB speaker) and have the vocal guidance play through another source like your computer. If you don't have speakers you may use headphones instead. Please situate this before our session.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE JOURNEY:

  • Make sure your computer is fully charged, or plugged in throughout, and connected to a power source. Spending 1.5+ hours on video can be very draining on your battery, and we don’t want your computer to power off in the middle of the breathwork journey.

  • Turn off or silence notifications on your phone and computer. Keep your phone in airplane mode.

  • Download the playlist prior to the journey, and use a second device to play the music (like your phone). Music is best played through speaker or earbuds/headphones. Please avoid playing music directly out of the computer as sound in journeys helps to create the atmosphere and mood, thus you want a full, rich volume surrounding you. Remember to have zoom audio and music playing from two different sources like phone and computer, or iPad and computer, phone and iPad, etc.

  • If it is nighttime, please journey with the lights/lamp on, and we recommend using an eye mask to cover your eyes.

  • CAMERA ON IS A MUST TO JOURNEY. Position the camera at the side of your body, in a way that you are visible from waist to head so that you can be guided and supported in a safe way.

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (no belt or buttons) not restrictive around the waist. Loosen bra or avoid altogether.

  • Prepare your sacred space. Light a candle or burn a leaf of sacred sage/palo santo. Clear the energy and set an intention. Make sure it is warm enough and comfortable. Prepare a pillow/bolster (for knees not head), blanket, water, eye mask with straps, and clean tissues. Create a nest where you feel supported and held. Lying on a yoga mat or the bed is fine.

  • Have an eye mask with straps (or something to tie around eyes), journal/notebook, and water available.

  • Make sure you will not be disturbed: Inform others in the house that you are doing a session, close the door, switch off your phone.

  • Before the session: Go to the bathroom, avoid consuming any alcohol or intoxicating substances and do not eat a large meal. Make sure all food is digested at least 1 hour before and eat lightly in the hours prior. Avoid coffee at least 3 hours before Breathwork. Caffeinated tea or cacao is ok right before the journey. Coffee in the morning is fine if it's a part of your routine. If you have low blood sugar, have nuts or a piece of fruit nearby

  • If possible, have another person around in the house in case you need support. If not, no worries.

  • Don't drive a car/motorbike for at least 30 minutes after the journey.

POST BREATH CARE:

  • Please drink plenty of water- one glass an hour every hour in the following 48 hours post session.

  • Continue to create a container of self-care for yourself, as well as spaciousness for your process.

  • Take time to ground, integrate and re-center. Time in nature/directly on the earth is perfect!

  • Remember that breath medicine may continue to work on you past the journey. Be open to the wisdom of the process and hold the understanding that more may continue to show up in the day/days following. Journaling, mediation, yin/restorative yoga, nature, salt baths, nourishing foods and liquids, etc will all support you in moving through anything that could arise.

  • Keep in mind that healing is not linear and not everything is always resolved in one session. If something surfaces for you to work with in the days to come, be gentle and compassionate with yourself. Be willing to sit with it and be with it to reap its wisdom for greater awareness and integration. Be open and stay curious as whatever is surfacing is showing up for you to heal/witness/receive/integrate/transform to move into a new octave of embodiment.

  • Finally, take space for yourself in the hour before our live session, drink some water, make sure you have eaten something (digested 1 hour before), ground in (in nature if you can), set an intention and clear your energetic field.

What Happens in a Session?

Each session is a guided, multi-layered journey into your inner world, offering a sacred space to explore, feel, and breathe freely.

You will be gently guided through a unique process that allows you to:

● Release stored trauma and emotional tension

● Quiet the overthinking mind and access stillness

● Reconnect with your intuition and body wisdom

● Regulate and reset your nervous system

● Expand your capacity for emotional expression and self-holding

● Feel more grounded, open, and alive in your life

This is a space where everything is welcome—tears, laughter, movement, stillness. You are invited to breathe as you are. No need to perform. Just be.

This isn’t just breathwork.

This isn’t just breathwork.

It’s a sacred return—to your body, your heart, and the truth of who you are.
